• Upgrading from previous project versions (V11 – V13) depends on the TIA Portal products. The latest update is recommended (V13 SP2).
• The projects created on the TIA V13 SP1 to V15.1 are upgraded with TIA Portal V16 to the project version v16.
• If you need to edit a project file (version V13 SP1 to V15.1), we need to install additional software for TIA V16. You can use the TIA Portal v16 license for all previous TIA versions.
• The hardware configuration and program code from Step 7 V5.4 SP5 can be migrated to the Step 7 V16 project.
