TIA Portal V20 Update 5 contains the following improvements and changes:
- Working with the TIA Portal V20: Stability when working with the TIA Portal has been improved, partly based on the feedback from returned crash reports.
- Handling the “DBofUDT” parameter transfer: TIA Portal V20 Update 5 improves the handling of passing “DBofUDT” parameters. The correct length of these parameters is now clearly stored in all cases, which prevents any impairment of subsequent parameters.
- Handling of duplicate elements: TIA V20 Update 5 improves the validation for duplicate elements (e.g. blocks or PLC data types) while compiling the software.
- Dependency between project languages and settings for multilingualism of the CPU is removed: If you change the editing language and reference language in your project, this will no longer affect the configuration of multilingualism in the properties of the CPU.
