- WinCC Unified Redundancy: A significant upgrade for SCADA systems with redundancy for WinCC Unified servers, ensuring continuous 24/7 monitoring even in the event of hardware failure.
- Screen Editor Improvements: The HMI design interface has been completely revamped with features such as retaining layer information when copying, better overlapping object management, and support for responsive design (automatically adapting to various screen sizes).
- Engineering Copilot: Integrated quick access button to the AI assistant (Copilot), supporting engineers in document retrieval, answering questions, and optimising programming workflows directly within the TIA Portal environment.

TIA Portal V21 requires a 64-bit Windows 10/11 or Server 2022/2025 OS, an Intel Core i5-12600HE (or equivalent) processor, and at least 16 GB of RAM (32 GB recommended for large projects). Installation necessitates at least 50 GB of free SSD space, with 100 GB recommended for optimal performance.
