- The CPU models above with firmware version 2.8.0 or later do not support being downgraded to the firmware V2.7.0 or earlier versions.
- If you cannot apply the S7-200 SMART firmware update V2.8 or if your CPU does not boot successfully after applying the firmware update, return the CPU to Siemens for a replacement.
